About Healthy Cities
Since 1986 Hungary has been involved to the WHO Healthy Cities project which aims to place health high on the agenda of decision-makers in 18 cities and to promote comprehensive local strategies for health and sustainable development based on the principles and objectives of the strategy for Health for All for the twenty-first century and local Agenda 21.

How to join
Any local government in Hungary who have made a resolution to accept the basic rules and the rules for membership of the Hungarian Association of Healthy Cities have the right to join the Association.
The letter of interest or the application of any interested local government should be addressed to the secretariat who will prepare the necessary documents and forward all applicants to the upcoming board meeting and assembly.
